This weekend is the Orick Rodeo. One of the nicest little towns in the north coast set among the valley ranches along the river and views all around of Redwood National Park. Fortuna Rodeo
One of the oldest and most awaited rodeo on the north coast July 19 and 20th is rodeo time in Fortuna. Rodeo festivities begin on Monday July 14th and run through the week. There is a parade on Saturday the 19th and plenty of music and food. Don’t miss the Humboldt County Cattlewomen’s Tri Tip Sandwiches at the rodeo. You might want to eat one there and take one home for later, they are always that good. Fortuna will also host a now famous AutoRama later in July. Lots of home town fun....
